Following receipt of recent government advice and consultation with the Tennis West of Scotland Board of Directors and Competitions Group, Tennis West of Scotland’s Plan A for the resumption of competitive activity can now be found below:
The Board recognizes that this is an optimistic plan. Which competitions go ahead and when they start may be changed again depending on how the current situation unfolds. By sharing Plan A now, the Board aims to reduce some of the current uncertainty about upcoming summer season competitions and answer many of the questions that Clubs have asked.
Nominated team captains will be contacted and advised to regularly check the web site. Matches should not be rescheduled at this time and, once a start date and plan is able to be confirmed at a later date, the safest and most effective way of doing this will be advised.
The winter National League West of Scotland competition programme has been cancelled. Attached are the standings when play was suspended. A great new initiative providing lots of additional competitive play for junior players throughout the winter! To view the standings at 16th March 2020, please click HERE.
