Tennis West of Scotland - League and Cup Competition Results 2020

Once again a huge thank you to all players, parents, clubs, staff & volunteers for your support and participation during this very different season.  Once play was allowed to resume for 2020, we were able to enjoy tennis and our sport saw a boost in participation across the country.  

Thankfully, we were able to continue with some of our league competitions and over the next few weeks, results will be added to this page for you to review.

West of Scotland Open - 2020

​Calum MacGeoch and Anastasia Rentouli are the new West of Scotland singles champions.   MacGeoch, from Pitlochry but studying for a masters at Stirling University, beat Nicolas Rosenzweig 1-6 6-3 [10-7] in the men’s final.  Rentouli, who arrived from Greece to study in Scotland last month, proved too strong for top seed Halle Pringle with a straight sets final win.
 
Alex Halsey [David Lloyd Hamilton] beat Scott Martin [David Lloyd Aberdeen] in the men’s 35 & Over final.
 
The Shield singles titles were won by Andrew Wilson [Hilhead] and Sorcha Caves [Giffnock].
