Tennis West of Scotland is a company limited by guarantee which is run by a Board of Directors whose purpose is to review, monitor and support the development of competition and training within the County/District of West of Scotland.
It works together with Tennis Scotland to create a safe and inclusive environment not only for those taking part in the game but also for those donating and investing time and money into the sport of tennis.

54 tennis clubs are currently affiliated to Tennis West of Scotland which provides a year-round program of activities for players competing in 8 & Under competitions to players competing in 70 & Over competitions.
Over 5000 club members enjoyed inter-club league competition last season.
Over 100 young players from West of Scotland clubs regularly train as part of the county training program and compete with players from out with the county in a year-round staged program of tournaments.
Currently 27 age-group county teams represent West of Scotland in inter-county competitions.
Formed in 1904, the company - previously the West of Scotland Lawn Tennis Association - celebrated its centenary with a year-long round of events throughout 2004.

Tennis West of Scotland County Office & Staff
Competitions 2022
The Tennis West of Scotland Board and staff will host a number of virtual meetings throughout 2022 to discuss competition topics with club representatives. Discussion topics and any planned polls will be issued to club main contacts in advance.
The first meeting is provisionally planned for Wednesday 30th March at 7 p.m.
